The EBRAINS Education and Coordination Team was present at the EBRAINS 2025 Summit. The Summit took place from 8 – 11 of December in Brussels, Belgium. With a strong focus on educational strategy, the team organised a PhD networking event and a session on neuroscience education.
The PhD event was aimed at early-career researched interested in neuroscience and interdisciplinary career paths. The speakers gave advice for completing a PhD and provided insight into post-PhD career options in both academia and industry. An AMA session and panel discussion followed featuring conversations about choosing research projects, working successfully with supervisors and future employment goals.

On the Public day on December 9th, the EBRAINS Education and Coordination Team was present at the EBRAINS Booth to inform attendees about the Education activities and offers within EBRAINS.

On December 11th, Johannes Passecker, as co-chair of the EBRAINS Education Task Force, moderated the session ‘Neuroscience Education Plenary by INCF and EBRAINS Education Task Force’. The speakers gave presentations on research, innovations and international partnerships in digital neuroscience education across Europe while the panel discussion focused on how we can make online tools accessible and credible for secondary and tertiary education.
