On 5 November 2025, Johannes Passecker, as other representatives, together with the Rector, Gert Mayer, and Vice-Rector for Research, Christine Bandtlow, traveled to Elche, Spain, to sign the agreement and participate in the NeurotechEU General Assembly. The Medical University of Innsbruck has joined the European alliance NeurotechEU, expanding the network to Austria and strengthening collaboration in neuroscience, medicine, and advanced technologies. This milestone highlights the university’s commitment to interdisciplinary research, education, and innovation across Europe.
